OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS

1. ELIGIBILITY: The Beat the Blizzard Contest (the "Contest") is open only to legal residents of District of Columbia, New Jersey, Virginia and Maryland who are [AGE, e.g., 18 years of age or older] as of the date of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Silver Diner Development, LLC ("Sponsor"), its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

2. SPONSOR: The Contest is sponsored by Silver Diner Development, LCC located at 12276 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland 20852

3. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in the Contest, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

4. CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest period begins on 1/21/26 at 12:00am EDT and ends on 1/25/26 at 11:59pm EDT (the "Contest Period"). Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Contest. We will announce one winner per location.

5. HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, eligible individuals may enter by filling out and submitting an answer in the form above and must include:

• Your full name

• Your valid email address and phone number

• Your zip code of residence (District of Columbia, New Jersey, Virginia or Maryland)

• Your answer for this contest.

• Limit: Limit one (1) entry per person per visit location. Multiple entries for ‘snow fall total’ from the same person or email address will be disqualified. Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of automated devices will cause disqualification.

6. WINNER DETERMINATION: The winner will be selected at random of the Sponsor that contains the correct answer of the Beat The Blizzard contest.

7. PRIZE: One (1) winner will receive one (1) [GIFT CARD TYPE $100 for Silver Diner

• No Substitution: No prize substitution, transfer, or assignment is permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.

• Taxes: Winner is solely responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes, if any, associated with the acceptance and use of the prize.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The potential winner will be notified by email at the email address provided in their entry within 1 business days of the Contest Period end. The potential winner must respond to the notification email within 2 days of the date the email was sent, or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected based on the next earliest correct entry.

9. PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited by law, by entering this Contest, the winner grants Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, and state of residence in connection with the Contest for promotional, advertising, or other purposes, in any media now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation or notification.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

11. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, employees, officers, and directors from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, the awarding, receipt, possession, use, and/or misuse of the prize or participation in any prize-related activities, or participation in the Contest.

12. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules in the State of Maryland, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Maryland.

13. WINNER LIST: For the name of the winner (available after 30 days after the contest closes), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Silver Diner Attn Beat The Blizzard Winner List, 12276 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland, 20852 for receipt by December 31, 2025.
