Baba Sarr Operating Partner - Greenbelt Silver Diner

Baba emigrated to the US from Senegal in 1993, and joined the Silver Diner in September 1995 as a cook. Baba's enthusiasm, "Never Give Up" attitude, and accomplishments were immediately noticed gaining him a promotion to a Kitchen Supervisor, Manager and General Manager. He was awarded General Manager of the Year in 2001. Baba is now the Operating Partner of our Greenbelt restaurant and participates in the development of our kitchen managers. |

Frank Mitolo Operating Partner - Springfield Silver Diner

Frank joined the Silver Diner team in October, 1995. Frank started as a manager for the Fair Oaks team, then moved into the Kitchen to learn more about our concept. Due to his drive, energy, performance and business knowledge, Frank was appointed General Manager of Fair Oaks, later, becoming an Operating Partner. Frank was awarded Operating Partner of the year 1999. |

Carlina Chiru Fekel Director of People Development

Carlina joined our Silver Diner team in August 1990 as a hostess. Through her performance, passion, and commitment to excellence, she progressed up the ladder while acquiring her degree from Towson State University. She became a Manager at Reston in 1998, a Service Manager that same year, a General Manager in 1999, and ended that year as an Operating Partner. In 2001, she was awarded Operating Partner of the Year. She is now our Director of People Development. Carlina is always giving her best to help others. |

Mark Russell Director of New Store Development

Mark joined our team in January 1995 as a floor manager in Fair Oaks. Mark was a fast-track manager who quickly mastered our Silver Diner culture. After a very successful period as a Kitchen Manager and Service Manager in 1996, Mark opened our Clarendon Diner in 1996. He later opened our Springfield restaurant as a General Manager and led that team to two successful years. Mark was awarded Operating Partner of the year in 1998. He is now our Director of new store development. |
